Pete,
Whatever the result, no need for sack cloth: You made the start, are in the race, and are inspiring all those who are encouraged to try that much harder to achieve their own aspirations because of your example.
Cheers,
Dave

Hello Pete!
Gilbert CHOLLET's team wishes you all the best for this race!!! we were neighbours on the pontoon in St Malo. We keep on watching your progression on the race so far and are quite happy Gilbert chose the same route as you did even though far behind! I hope you enjoy the boat and are happy with it. I don't know if we'll meet on arrival as my dad is several days behind but see you on the pontoon over there maybe neighbours again!!!
Go SOUTH!!!

Greetings Captain Goss!
I never knew sailing was so tiring.
2 hours on, 2 hours off looking at that tracker:-) Keep the boot down but avoid all the holes or we will have drunk all the Rum by the time you arrive in sunny Caribbean:-) Cheers old fruit. Dave & All the DMS crew

Although I do not know the people, these three messages say it all. Martin Pryor(7/11)the 'awesome technology' available today that allows us to see and hear you, Martin Gundry (7/11) how we can 'touch your excitement', this is very real, and Lilian Crouch(8/11) 'how you had time for everyone' so in return we all have time for you.
