West Country sailor and adventurer Pete Goss MBE is selling Spirit of Mystery, the little wooden boat that took him and three family members to Australia in a recreation of the voyage made by seven Cornishman in the smallest migrant vessel ever to make it ‘down under’ more than a century and a half ago.

GOSS COMPLETES 2010 ROUTE DU RHUM
Pete Goss completed the 2010 Route du Rhum single-handed Trans-Atlantic race at 16:58 UTC yesterday (20/11/10) after nearly three weeks at sea. Arriving in Pointe-a-Pitre in an elapsed time of 20 days 4 hours 56 minutes and 10 seconds gave Goss 14th place out of the 44 Class 40 boats that took part.
